On 18 December 2025, the Ministry of Interior issued a press release on the impacts on civilian areas and the protection of displaced civilians resulting from the war of territorial aggression by the Bangkok Government and the Thai Military from 6:00 PM on 17 December until 7:00 AM on 18 December 2025.
From 7 December until 7:00 AM on 18 December 2025, the acts of aggression carried out by the Bangkok Government and the Thai Military against Cambodia, involving indiscriminate attacks, particularly the shelling and aerial bombardment of civilian areas, have resulted in the deaths of 18 Cambodian civilians and injuries to 79 others. These attacks have also caused the displacement of more than 140,000 families.
